The Super Eagles camp is buzzing with excitement as 20 players reported for duty ahead of the crucial 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying games against Benin Republic and Rwanda. The team's training session on Tuesday evening was a testament to the depth of talent and dedication of the players, as they worked tirelessly to perfect their strategies.

Goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali and Amos Obasogie were in top form, with the latter impressing in his debut training session.

Defenders William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina, Calvin Bassey, Olisa Ndah, and Bruno Onyemaechi formed a solid backbone, while midfielders Alex Iwobi, Frank Onyeka, Raphael Onyedika, Alhassan Yusuf, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, and Wilfred Ndidi showcased their skills.

Forwards Ademola Lookman, Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Victor Boniface added pace and flair to the attack.

Notably absent were Maduka Okoye, Victor Osimhen, and Kelechi Iheanacho, who are expected to join the team soon. Osimhen is on the verge of completing a loan move to Galatasaray, while Iheanacho is yet to report for duty.

As the team prepares to face Benin Republic on Saturday, the intensity of training is expected to increase. Coach Austin Eguavoen will be pleased with the progress made so far and will be looking to fine-tune his tactics ahead of the crucial encounter.

All is set for an exciting showdown against Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo on Saturday, after which the team will fly to Kigali to conclude this month's qualifiers against Rwanda the following week.
