Rasheedat Ajibade and Osinachi Ohale named in WAFCON 2022 Best XI

The Confederation of African Football, CAF has named the Super Falcons duo of Rasheedat Ajibade and Osinachi Ohale in the Team of the Tournament for the just-concluded 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Atletico de Madrid Feminino star, Rasheedat Ajibade and Deportivo Alaves' defender Osinachi Ohale were indispensable for the Super Falcons of Nigeria during the 12th WAFCON.

Ajibade scored three of the Falcons’ nine goals and assisted two, while Ohale played her part in helping the team keep clean sheets in three of the six games played. 

The two Nigerians have joined nine others in CAF’s official team of the tournament.

Players from four of the championship’s four semifinalists made the team with South Africa providing four representatives. 

Hosts, Morocco have three players while Nigeria and Zambia both have two players each in the competition's best XI.
