The Galatasaray striker has vehemently denied the allegations, stating that he was simply trying to protect his private time.
According to reports, the incident occurred when Osimhen was out with friends at an African restaurant.
The journalist in question allegedly rushed up to him with a camera, prompting Osimhen to ask him to delete the photos.
Osimhen claims that he never hit the journalist, but rather told him to respect his private time.
The journalist, however, has accused Osimhen of becoming violent and aggressive when confronted about the photos.
Osimhen's friends came to his defense during the event, stating that the journalist's actions were invasive and unprofessional.
Osimhen has expressed his disappointment and frustration at the allegations, stating that he is not new to this type of situation.
He has vowed to take necessary steps to clear his name and seek justice.
The lawsuit is set to begin in court on Monday, January 26, with Osimhen seeking to prove that the journalist's allegations are false and malicious.
