Ajibade shines as Atletico Madrid Femenino defeat Ohale’s Alaves

In their second league match of the 2022/2023 league season on Sunday, Atletico Madrid defeated Osinachi Ohale's Alaves 1-0 thanks in-part to an assist by Super Falcons attacker, Rasheedat Ajibade.
As the game was about to end scoreless, Ajibade chased down a seemingly lost cause, to keep the ball in play and set up Brazilian teammate, Ludmila Da Silva to score the winning goal.
Atletico have now won their opening two fixtures of the season, and are one of five sides with a perfect record.
22-year-old Ajibade has a goal and assist in two league appearances (one start) so far this season. A good start to the season.
For Ohale and Alaves, it is back-to-back league defeats and they seat in 13th position.
