Sadiq Umar suffers torn ACL

Super Eagles forward, Sadiq Umar has been dealt a massive blow after his club, Real Sociedad confirmed that the forward has sustained a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament.
The club made the revelation via a statement on their club website:
"He suffered a twist in his right knee during the Getafe-RS match, held yesterday, 09-11-2022.
The MRI done this morning shows a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament. It is a subsidiary lesion of surgical treatment. In the next few days it will be reported.
Start treatment with physiotherapy and personalized work."
Following his fast start to the season (3 goals in 5 matches), this injury is a big dent in the progress of Sadiq, and we have to wait and see how he bounces back when he returns.
