  • Samuel Chukwueze has become the third Nigerian player at Fulham after sealing a loan move from AC Milan to the Premier League side.

The Super Eagles winger joins compatriots Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey at Craven Cottage, strengthening what is fast becoming a strong Nigerian connection at the London club.

Chukwueze, who has struggled for form and playing time in recent months, sees this as a fresh opportunity to reignite his career and get valuable minutes on the pitch. Fulham had kept close tabs on him throughout the transfer window, and after late negotiations between both clubs, the deal was completed just before the deadline.

The Cottagers confirmed it is a season-long loan with an option to extend, leaving the door open for a longer stay should he impress in the Premier League.

Speaking after putting pen to paper, Chukwueze expressed his delight at the move and emphasized the comfort of joining familiar faces.

“I’m so happy to be here. It’s an amazing club. It feels like home, because I have my people around me. I feel at home already, and I can’t wait to get started.” the Super Eagles winger said

Up next for Chukwueze is linking up with the Super Eagles for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.
