Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade recorded her first assist for Paris Saint-Germain Women as they cruised to a 5-2 victory over Nantes Women in the French D1 Arkema on Saturday.

The 24-year-old Nigerian international, who joined PSG this summer, played a key role in the team’s attacking display, assisting the third goal scored by Merveille Kanjinga to add to PSG's advantage.

PSG had already established a two-goal lead before Ajibade delivered a brilliant cross for Kanjinga, after some excellent footwork down the flank, and the latter calmly slotted home to further take the game beyond Nantes. The moment was a special one for Ajibade, who continues to find her rhythm in Paris after leaving Atlético Madrid.

The victory helps PSG continue in their fine form, while Ajibade’s contribution highlighted her ability to blend seamlessly into a star-studded squad.
