With five games left in the regular season, he hopes he and his teammates can keep putting in brilliant performances to ensure a strong finish to the season.

Onuachu is however determined to help his team salvage something from the year.
Paul Onuachu of the Super Eagles has stated that he is not nurturing the ambition to be the season’s top scorer. Instead, he wants to see Genk finish at a good spot in the Belgian Jupiler League.
In the domestic cup, they have failed to defend their title also after they were eliminated in the round of 16 by Club Brugge.
In addition, Genk has struggled in the league. They are now in eighth place and are eight points below the last playoff berth, putting them in danger of missing out on the title playoffs.
Despite being plagued by injuries, he has managed to score 16 goals and provide three assists.
Last season, the Nigerian international scored the most goals. However, he is only five goals shy off the top spot this season.
Paul say he is unconcerned about this because all he cares about is the growth of his squad.
“To be honest, I’m not working on that,” Onuachu told Het Belang Van Limburg.
“I am happy with the number of goals that I have already collected.
“Well, sixteen is not wrong, especially if you consider that we currently only eighth. I’m happy with that.
“My ambition is to score weekly and thus help the team to the necessary points. We’ll see how far I get with that.
“This season is far from over. When I look at the classification, Play-Off 2 also promises to be a tough job. The competition will not be underestimated. But we are in the good flow, and we have to keep it up.” He added.
Onuachu was outstanding for Genk on Sunday, scoring one goal and assisting on another in a 2-0 win over Kortrijk.
