For weeks, Awo had been without a goal in the Bundesliga, having not scored for Urs Fischer’s men since scoring in a 2-1 defeat against RB Leipzig on December 3rd, a span of 444 minutes.

Ahmed Musa (Fatih Karagumruk SK- Turkish Super Lig)

Fatih Karagumruk came from behind to beat Istanbul Basaksehir 2-1 away from home, with Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa scoring the winning goal.

Since joining the Turkish club in July, the Nigerian international has scored twice in the league.

Simy Nwankwo (FC Parma – Italian Serie B)

The Nigerian forward started and assisted Parma’s opening goal, off the boot of Gennaro Tutino in their 4-0 Italian Serie B victory over Spal.

Since joining Parma from Salernitana in January, Simy Nwankwo has scored once in six appearances.

Chiamaka Nnadozie (Paris FC – D1 Arkema)

The Nigerian goalie was in fine form as Paris FC won 5-2 away at Guingamp in the French D1 Arkema, on Saturday.

Sally Julini scored from the penalty spot in the 42nd minute at the Stade Centre Formation EAG 1 in Pabu, despite the 21-year-old shot stopper’s efforts.

However, that goal came after Corboz, Ribadeira, Mateo, and Hocine had put the visitors in command with a four-goal cushion.

Tolu Arokodare (Amiens SC – French Ligue 2)

Tolu Arokodare, a former Golden Eaglets invitee, scored two goals for his French employers this weekend.

The goals came in the 68th and 84th minutes, respectively as Amiens defeated Nimes 3-0 in the French Ligue 2.

His brace brings his league total to seven goals in 22 games so far this season.
