The 25-year old joins the Hornets on a season-long loan from EFL Championship cub, Stoke City. Etebo has been with the Potters since the summer of 2018, but has failed to settle into the side.

Following a mixed loan spell with Galatasaray last season, he has been given an opportunity to fulfill his potential, in the English Premier League.

Watford gained promotion following an impressive 2020/2021 season, which saw them finish second in the EFL Championship. They are clearly looking to bolster their squad in order to avoid an immediate return to the second division.

He becomes the fifth Nigerian International currently on the books at Watford. He will team up with Isaac Success, Tom Dele-Bashiru, William Troost-Ekong and Emmanuel Bonaventure, who also joined this summer.
