21-year old striker, Terem Moffi, has joined French side, FC Lorient on a permanent transfer from KV Kortrijk. The youngster signed a four-year deal with the Ligue 1 club after only one season with Kortrijk.
Moffi scored 5 goals in 9 appearances for the Belgian Pro League side last season, and he opened his account for this season already, with a goal in 2 league matches.
Terem Moffi, the first Nigerian player to join FC Lorient revealed his delight at signing with the club:
“I am very honored to wear the Lorient colors and to play in Ligue 1 Uber Eats. I have worked a lot in recent seasons to get this wonderful opportunity. I join a high quality group, with talented players, and it’s up to me now to show my qualities to impose myself among the Merlus. I am impatient to make my debut with FC Lorient and to make my contribution to this club which has placed its trust in me ”.
FC Lorient currently sit 16th on the Ligue 1 table with 4 points after 5 games so far this season.
