21-year old Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has been named as the winner of the 2019/2020 Marc-Vivian Foe Award in the French Ligue 1.
The award is handed out to reward the best African player in the Ligue 1 for the season.
Victor [Osimhen] who enjoyed a breakout year during his first campaign with Lille was up against compatriot, Moses Simon and 9 other nominees.
Osimhen scored 13 goals and provided 5 assists in 25 matches for Lille, before the Ligue 1 season was ended early due to the coronavirus pandemic.
