22-year old Super Falcons forward, Chinaza Uchendu recently joined Swedish Obos Damallsvenskan side, Linkopings FC, fresh off the backs of success with SC Braga in Portugal.
“I feel very excited. This is what i have always wanted, a very competitive league where i can improve myself and Linkopings is one of the best teams in the Swedish league so i feel this is the right place for me to build and improve in every area i’m lacking as a young player who is willing to learn and grow in my career.”, Chinaza said to EaglesTracker.
Speaking about the future, having won the 2018/2019 Liga BPI and the 2019/2020 Portuguese National Cup with her previous club, Braga, she said:
“My goal is to bring positive changes to the team. Help the team in any way I can to achieve their objectives, make a name for myself and for the club and of course win trophies with the team.”
Having already won the 2018 CAF Africa Women’s Cup of Nations with the Super Falcons in 2018, and featuring at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France, the future is looking very bright for the talented youngster, who teams up with compatriots, Uchenna Kanu and Orji Ebere for the Swedish outfit.
We wish her the best of luck.
