Could 20-year old Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye be on the move in search of more playing opportunities ?
Omasports.com reports exclusively that the German-born Nigerian has opened talks with Dutch Eredivisie club, Sparta Rotterdam ahead of a potential summer transfer.
He and his agent were spotted on Friday afternoon at the Sparta Stadion Het Kasteele for a meeting with club president, Henk Van Stee.
Okoye’s current contract with German Bundesliga club, Fortuna Dusseldorf expires in June and a host of clubs are said to be interested in acquiring the services of the promising goalkeeper.
Maduka appeared on the bench four times in the Bundesliga for Fortuna Dusseldorf this season, but spends most of his time playing with their reserve team in the fourth tier of German football.
He made his debut in October 2019, replacing the injured Francis Uzoho during a high-profile international friendly vs Brazil in Singapore.
Would it be a good move for him ? Leave a comment or reaction below.
