The first half ended goalless, with Adamu making a fine stop in the 16th minute.
The second half was more of the same, with both teams not creating any clear cut chances.
Orji Okwonkwo hit the crossbar with a header resulting from a corner kick and that proved to be the best chance of the game.
Olisa Ndah was shown a second yellow card after 70 mins for a foul, giving away a penalty which was duly converted to hand the Olympic Eagles a matchday 1 defeat.
